Price Forbes Singapore has appointed Mr Rajiv Ramakrishnan as Head of Accident and Health (A&H).
In his new role, Mr Ramakrishnan will be responsible for developing the Price Forbes A&H offering in Southeast Asia and APAC. His appointment comes at a time of growing pressure on A&H insurers across APAC, with medical inflation outpacing general inflation alongside sustained post-pandemic demand for A&H products.
His primary goal will be to help fill cedants’ coverage gaps in their A&H portfolios, including supporting carriers to launch new primary products across critical illness, lump-sum, travel and other A&H lines.
Mr Ramakrishnan joins from Liberty Mutual Insurance where he spent nine years. He also has five years of experience in health economics across pharmaceuticals and hospital operations.
