Murugappa Group has announced the appointment of Mr Rajive Kumaraswami as the new Managing Director of Cholamandalam MS General Insurance, effective 1 June 2026.
In the meantime, he will take on the role of Managing Director Designate, according to the Times of India.
Mr Kumaraswami’s LinkedIn profile noted that prior to his new role, he worked with SCOR and Magma General Insurance Company. With Magma, he was most recently Managing Director and CEO.
He will succeed Mr V Suryanarayanan, who will retire from the company on 31 May 2026, the Times of India stated.
