VIG Re has appointed Mr Wilfrid Goh as Chief Representative APAC, for its proposed Representative Office in Singapore, effective 1 July 2026 and subject to the approval of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
In his new role, Mr Goh will lead the establishment of VIG Re’s presence in Singapore, a key milestone in VIG Re’s local presence in Asia, acting as a liaison between the proposed representative office and the headquarters in Prague.
Mr Goh brings over 20 years of reinsurance experience across Asia, with a strong track record in treaty underwriting and client management. His expertise stretches across property and engineering treaty, as well as marine, casualty and structured reinsurance solutions.
His background is further complemented by experience in claims leadership and public sector solutions.
