Representatives from the Thai Life Insurance Association, Association of Life Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors and the regulator, the Office of the Insurance Commission, met to discuss communication strategies and promote public understanding of life insurance in the country.
The discussion was aimed at developing communication and public relations strategies to accelerate the creation of accurate knowledge and understanding among the public, particularly regarding life insurance, essential information and principles for choosing a policy that suits customer needs and budget.
The meeting also emphasised the role of life insurance agents as advisors who may help members of the public understand a product before making a decision.
To that end, discussions included the necessity of agents studying customer needs, presenting suitable insurance plans, explaining the key aspects of the policy completely and clearly, as well as providing continuous service and support to policyholders throughout the contract term.
