Markel has appointed Ms Audrey Pang as Senior Claims Adjuster, based in Hong Kong. She joins the Asia claims team as the first dedicated claims professional in Hong Kong.
In her new role, Ms Pang manages claims arising from Markel’s Hong Kong and China portfolio, with a particular focus on professional and financial risks. According to Markel Managing Director of Greater China, Ms Chelsea Jiang, in a press release, Ms Pang also brings greater local focus, responsiveness and technical capability to the claims experience for brokers and clients.
Ms Pang has specialist experience across financial lines and cyber, alongside hands-on experience managing complex claims and valuable familiarity with the various jurisdictions, said Markel Head of Claims for Asia, Mr Bo Yu.
Prior to her new role, Ms Pang held underwriting roles at AIG across financial lines and cyber. She joined Markel from Zurich Insurance Company in Hong Kong.
