Willis Towers Watson appoints Roger Steel to lead Hong Kong businesses

Willis Towers Watson announced the appointment of Mr Roger Steel as Managing Director for Hong Kong and Macau, along with two other key hires for its Hong Kong business.

Mr Steel’s appointment took effect on 12 February 2018. He is based in Hong Kong.

Before joining Willis Towers Watson, he held various key leadership positions, including CEO for Sun Life Hong Kong. He has more than 35 years of experience across insurance and consulting, and having worked in Hong Kong for 19 years, he has a strong knowledge of the local market as well.

In addition to his appointment, Willis Towers Watson announced two other key hires for their Corporate Risk & Broking and Talent & Rewards businesses.

Mr Ted Hodgkinson is Willis Towers Watson’s new Head of Corporate Risk & Broking for Hong Kong and Macau. Based in Hong Kong, he started in mid-December 2017. He brings to the role more than 20 years of experience working in the region, of which 15 years were in senior leadership roles in Hong Kong and regionally.

Mr Noel Goh joined Willis Towers Watson in early December 2017 as Head of Talent & Rewards for Hong Kong. Noel is based in Hong Kong and has worked as a strategic adviser to senior leaders in the private and government sectors across Asia Pacific and previously held a regional leadership role with Aon Hewitt. He has extensive experience in the talent management, culture shaping, and leadership development and assessment arenas.
