Taiwanese life insurer Shin Kong Life has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hong Kong-based technology firm AIFT to transform Vietnam's digital insurance market.
This new partnership hopes to transform Vietnam’s digital insurance arena by creating a pioneering hybrid insurance ecosystem through Shin Kong Vietnam and its local distribution channels and operational expertise. This collaboration sets the stage for continued partnership with Shin Kong Life to promote Taiwan’s digital insurance solutions across Southeast Asian markets, fostering the development of competitive, scalable, and regulation-compliant InsurTech models.
As part of the partnership, AIFT will introduce its digital insurance SaaS system, IXT, which features a modular architecture, open integration, and an automated rule engine. The synergy between IXT’s digital functionalities and Shin Kong Vietnam’s market expertise aims to bring a seamless online-to-offline digital insurance service model to fruition.
AIFT and Shin Kong Vietnam have selected Chunghwa Telecom Vietnam subsidiary as its strategic partner for data centre and cloud infrastructure services
Shin Kong Life chairman Mr Mark Wei said that this cooperation will mark an important step in the internationalisation of Taiwan’s insurance technology.
