Insured losses from Nat CATs fall 20% to US$20 bln in 1H

Global insured losses from Nat CATs totalled US$20 billion for the six-month period ending 30 June, approximately 20% below the 10-year average and 2012 figure of $25 billion, said Impact Forecasting, Aon Benfield's CAT model development centre, in a recent report.
