Japan's February snowstorms claims payouts forecast at US$585 mln

Insurers have forecasted Japan's February snowstorms' total claims payouts to be around JPY60 billion (US$585 million) while economic losses were estimated to approach JPY120 billion (US$1.2 billion), said Impact Forecasting of Aon Benfield in its February Global Catastrophe Recap report.
