Qatar: Insurance gap needs to be filled through public-private partnerships (PPP)

The insurance industry must take active steps to close the gap between economic losses and insured losses and the problem can only be solved through private and public sector partnership, said the insurance keynote speaker, Mr Amer Ahmed, CEO of Allianz Re, at the 8th Multaqa Qatar, which was held in Doha in March.
