Manulife Philippines unveils M?anulifeMOVE
Manulife Philippines has launched ManulifeMOVE, a programme that rewards customers with dis-counted premiums for living a more active lifestyle. 
 
   ManulifeMOVE members are able to measure various activity indicators with the use of fitness trackers synchronised with the ManulifeMOVE app on iOS or Android devices. With an average of 5,000 steps each day, a member can receive a 5% premium discount for the next year of their eligible policy. (Also, 7% for 7,000 steps and 10% for 10,000 steps.) Members can also access tips on how to stay active and healthy through the app.
 
   The programme was launched in the Philippines on the heels of its successful launch in Hong Kong and Macau.
 
 
Ironshore launches professional liability for global mining sector 
Ironshore International has launched a professional liability product for the mining sector worldwide. The dedicated product provides coverage to engineers and consultants engaged in all aspects of the mining process from exploration through planning and construction, operations and closure.
 
   The professional liability coverage for mining professionals is underwritten on a claims-made basis and includes cover for bodily injury, property damage, financial loss and pollution with policy limits available for up to GBP5 million (US$7.21 million). Insureds can be domiciled anywhere in the world with operations and project interests in multiple jurisdictions. It will be offered through Ironshore’s Lloyd’s Pembroke Syndicate 4000.
 
 
Guy Carpenter launches latest version of its capital modelling platform
Guy Carpenter & Company has released MetaRisk 8.1, the latest version of its dynamic financial analy-sis platform. 
 
   The latest version offers a variety of enhancements that improve usability and increase the overall user experience and performance. Among those, MetaRisk ModelBuilder has been introduced to the platform, allowing its clients to quickly and effectively build new models — essential for those getting started or sophisticated customers with goals of model 
validation.
