BlackRock: A greater risk appetite for alternative asset classes

Insurers need to move to alternative asset classes more so than ever in search of returns, says Mr David Lomas, Managing Director, Global Head, Financial Institutions Group, BlackRock. He urges insurers to look at the approach one has taken in equities, and to take advantage of illiquid equities in addition to public ones to diversify risk exposures.
