Now in its 49th year, the RISC is a sell-out event created by the Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) that provides the building blocks essential to understanding reinsurance in practice. 
While traditionally held in Australia, the event will be brought to Singapore for the first time this year by the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI).

The 12th International Microinsurance Conference expects to see approximately 400 participants and experts from around the world coming together to discuss and identify ways of accelerating growth and economic viability in microinsurance. The conference will be hosted by The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL) in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network. 
 
 
19th ASEAN Insurance Regulators Meeting (AIRM) and 42nd ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting (AIC)
21- 25 November, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
The AIRM is a valuable platform for the region’s insurance regulators to have forthright and open exchanges of ideas and views to foster closer cooperation for the development of the insurance sector in the region. This year, the AIRM will also be held back to back with the 2nd ASEAN Insurance Summit with the theme – “How Ready is the Region’s Insurance Industry for the AEC?”
 
   Meanwhile, the 42nd AIC meeting will also be taking place with several working committee meetings such as the Council of Bureaux Meeting, the ASEAN Insurance Education Committee, and the ASEAN Natural Disasters Research Works Sharing (ANDREWS), where many useful ideas will be shared.
