43 finalists vie for the 20th Asia Insurance Industry Awards in October

Some 43 insurers and brokers, risk managers, service providers and industry leaders have made it to the prestigious list of the top finalists for the 20th Asia Insurance Industry Awards (AIIA).

The judging process was completed in late August in Singapore. A panel of judges, representing local, regional and international industry experts and regulators, met with the finalists before making their decision. Many of the judges and finalists flew down from their respective home countries to attend this ultimate round in the judging process for the AIIA.

The 43 finalists were selected out of some 395 entries and 28 of them from nine of the 15 categories were given the opportunity to make their winning bid for the Award, fully utilising the opportunity to showcase their unique strengths and remind the judges of the qualities that got them to this last round of the selection process.

A secret ballot was cast and the scores will be tabulated and audited by independent auditor KPMG, who was also present at the final judging. Winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 11 October 2016 in Macau.
