Source: Asia Insurance Review | Jan 2017

Kay International AMEA Limited has launched an office at the Dubai International Financial Centre which will serve the Asia market, in addition to the Middle East and Africa.

The company operates as an independent multi-line underwriting general agency (MGA) and a reinsurance broker and is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority. It is affiliated to Kay International PLC (UK), which has been operating globally since 1980 and is a Lloyd’s-approved coverholder and broker.

Commenting at the official launch, Managing Director and CEO Mr Walid Sidani said: “Having experienced first-hand how partnering with the right MGA can become an innovative distribution and underwriting partner, I am pleased to have established Kay International AMEA with a seasoned team of technical underwriting experts and reinsurance placement professionals from the DIFC. It’s a natural evolution of the Kay brand and we will leverage the relationships nurtured over years of serving the region in different capacities through our new DIFC, Dubai presence.”

The company has also launched its new website at www.kayint-amea.com.
