Asia Philippines Agents/Advisors Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards

A total of 46 candidates from 11 markets have edged out 400 contenders from 50 companies and made it to the finals of the 3rd Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2018. The awards offers a neutral platform to recognise the best in life insurance agency and advisory across the region.
The panel of judges which selected the finalists through remote judging will next meet on 11 April 2018 in Singapore to deliberate and select winners for the 12 categories, including Executive Champion of the Year, by secret ballot with EY as auditor.
The transparent and independently-audited judging process counts some 25 judges comprising industry leaders and experts on the judging panel with HSBC Holdings group chairman Mr Mark Tucker as patron of the awards. The awards are organised by Asia Insurance Review and Asia Advisers Network with LIMRA as co-organiser.
The winners will only be announced at a gala dinner in Manila on 7 May 2018 to be held in conjunction with the 29th East Asian Insurance Congress, with insurance commissioner of the Philippines Mr Dennis B Funa as the guest of honour.
Asia Insurance Review editor-in-chief Sivam Subramaniam said, “There is a growing industry support for the awards. The quality of the 400 entries from 50 companies and 14 markets means that the finalists are already outstanding winners in their own right.”
Asia Advisers Network editor Benjamin Ang said, “The finalists should be proud for flying the flag of agents high. We will continue to do our part to recognise these unsung heroes and heroines of the insurance industry and highlight the underappreciated role agents and advisers play in narrowing society’s protection gap.”
AIA is strategic partner of the Awards and supporting organisations include Association of International Life Offices, Chartered Insurance Institute, The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers, Philippine Life Insurance Association, Financial Services Managers Association Singapore, Insurance Association of Sri Lanka, Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong, International Insurance Society, LOMA and Singapore Insurance Institute. A
