Pakistan: Regulator to focus on market development

The Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) will focus on market development and structural reforms in the insurance industry, the regulator said in a statement.
The life insurance market in last two decades have shown considerable growth due to the emergence of new distribution channels such as bancassurance and online platforms, reported Associated Press of Pakistan citing the statement.
