News - China: Insurers Paid over US$56 Mln in May Quake Claims

Chinese insurers have paid a combined 386 million yuan (US$56.6 million) in claims in the two months following the devastating 12 May Sichuan earthquake, according to a statement by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC).
