The Thai life insurance market is expected to show double-digit growth for 2009 despite the global financial turmoil. While this is outstanding, Mr Sara Lamsam, Director/President, Muang Thai Life Assurance and President, Thai Life Assurance Association, says that they are still carrying on with their advertising campaign to bring the awareness of life insurance to the public, so as to ensure continued growth in the sector. Mr Lamsam, who is also the Conference Chairman of the 24th Pacific Insurance Conference, also shares with us how the industry is preparing for the implementation of RBC and what is needed before they can offer real pension products in the country.
