Mixed colours are what Korea’s non-life sector has turned in recently – doing better than its life counterpart in terms of premiums during the crisis, but not doing so well in its underwriting results. And while 2009 has been positive and 2010 is expected to be a better year, old problems continue to hound the market and the years ahead will see more challenges.
