AXA: Awareness on disaster management improving, but more still to be done

Ms Gaëlle Olivier, CEO of AXA General Insurance in Asia notes that the impact of climate change and natural disasters is particularly acute in Asia, and is estimated to have cost roughly 2% of the region's GDP in recent times. She stresses that insurers have a role to protect and better manage these disaster risks.
