The upcoming 16th Asia Insurance CEO Summit on 24 & 25 February 2016 in Hong Kong will see insurance leaders gather to discuss strategic direction and concrete solutions to tackle the challenge of reinvention head on. Building on last year’s call for the industry to position itself at the forefront of trends, this year’s gathering seeks to facilitate action with the theme “Insuring a Smart World: The Next Uber”.
Aimed at breaking new ground with Asia in the lead, the Summit will look at the next Uber in insurance, turning old problems into new opportunities, making insurers more customer-centric, and stepping up to regulatory expectations.
Over the course of two days, industry leaders – IIS President & CEO Michael J Morrissey, MetLife Asia health expert Dr Nirmala Menon, and AIA Group’s Steve Monaghan among others – will take on in-depth discussions on hot topics such as how insurers can “re-imagine” insurance and avoiding falling into legacy traps, bolstering trust between the industry and all its stakeholders, as well as the “Fintech lure”.
