20th Asian Actuarial Conference (20th AAC) 
Theme: “Changing Asian Societies: Challenges and Opportunities”
9-12 November, Gurugram, India 
India is hosting the AAC for the first time, an event which brings together experts in various relevant domains from across the world. This year, the conference will focus on challenges and opportunities amid the prevailing political, economic and demographic evolution. 
 
 
IAIS Annual Conference 2016
Theme: “Risk based supervision to promote safe and stable insurance industry”
10-11 November, AsunciĆ³n, Paraguay 
Supervisors, academics, consumer and industry representatives, and other insurance experts will come together for a day and a half of robust discussion of the challenges, the opportunities and the solutions over a broad array of subjects including: implementing risk-based supervision, proportionality in practice, technological innovation and implications for supervisors and the insurance market and an update on all IAIS major projects.
 
 
Singapore FinTech Festival
14-18 November, Singapore
The inaugural Singapore FinTech Festival will bring together a series of distinct FinTech events back-to-back including Hackcelerator Demo Day, Innovation Lab Crawl, FinTech Awards, FinTech Conference, Tech Risk Conference, RegTech Forum and a grand closing party. 
 
   Organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore, it is an event for all financial institutions, technology companies, investors, innovation professionals and research institutes. 
 
 
12th International Microinsurance Conference 2016
Theme: “Driving growth and sustainability – A business case for microinsurance”
15-17 November, Colombo, Sri Lanka
The 12th International Microinsurance Conference, hosted by The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka (IASL) in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network, will see experts discuss and identify ways of accelerating growth and economic viability in microinsurance.

19th ASEAN Insurance Regulators Meeting (AIRM) and 42nd ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting (AIC)
21- 25 November, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
The AIRM is a valuable platform for the region’s insurance regulators to have forthright and open exchanges of ideas and views to foster closer cooperation for the development of the insurance sector in the region. This year, the AIRM will also be held back-to-back with the 42nd ASEAN Insurance Council Meeting (AIC). 
 
 
2nd ASEAN Insurance Summit
Theme: “How Ready is the Insurance Industry in the Region for AEC?”
23 November, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
The ASEAN Insurance Council (AIC) is organising the 2nd ASEAN Insurance Summit (AIS), which aims to measure the readiness of each ASEAN country prior to the ASEAN Market integration process and its implications for insurance companies in ASEAN. 
 
   There will be a distinguished regulators’ panel assembled to participate in the various plenary and concurrent breakout panel session.
 
 
The Digital Insurer Asia Conference
23 November, Hong Kong
The Digital Insurer Asia Conference 2016 is a one-day event hosted by The Digital Insurer, with the purpose to bring the community in Asia together to educate and inform on innovative strategies employed by experts in digital insurance. Event highlights include technology awards for insurers and startups in Asia. 
 
 
29th NIA-FAIR International Seminar
Theme: “Agriculture Insurance – Risk Mitigation for Livelihood Security and Sustainable Development”
24-25 November, Pune, India
This event organised by the National Insurance Academy (NIA) in collaboration with Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers & Reinsurers (FAIR) will have delegates participate in the deliberations upon the crucial issues related with agriculture insurance, to share experiences and ideas with the esteemed representatives of Asian-African countries, working towards achieving sustainable economic growth. 
 
 
10th India Rendezvous
Theme: Finding the ideal reinsurance partner
18-20 January 2017, Mumbai, India
Jointly organised with GIC Re, the India Rendezvous in its 10th year, will be looking at what makes a good reinsurer and RI broker from different perspectives as well as discuss long-term relationships rather than just price-based annual contracts. 
 
   The event will touch on the various challenges facing the Indian insurance market as it further opens up the insurance and reinsurance space and some of the regional issues involved as well as the kind of comprehensive service set-ups necessary for the inward and outward reinsurance market.
