Hong Kong:Total 2012 premiums grow 13% to US$32.9 bln

Hong Kong's total gross premiums went up 13% y-o-y to HK$255.2 billion (US$32.9 billion) in 2012, says the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. The total revenue premium of long term in-force business increased 13% to HK$215.9 billion, while non-life gross premiums rose 13.2% to HK$39.3 billion.
