China:Health premiums soar by 25.8% to US$9.6 bln in 1H

Health insurance premiums in China continued their growth momentum, soaring by 25.8% to CNY58.65 (US$9.6 billion) for the first six months of the year, as a result of a greater focus on coverage for major illnesses amid a restructuring in the life insurance market, reports China Insurance News.
