Two Japanese non-life insurers have been granted provisional licences to operate in Myanmar's Thilawa Special Economic Zone (SEZ) by the Ministry of Finance's Insurance Business Regulatory Board. They are Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance.
