Greater consistency in regulatory standards among the 10 Asean states is crucial to facilitate liberalisaton of the insurance sector in the region, said Mr Aun Porn Moniroth, Minister of Economy & Finance, Cambodia, at the joint opening of the 18th Asean Insurance Regulators Meeting (AIRM) and 41st Asean Insurance Council (AIC) Meeting held in Phnom Penh this week.
