Taiwan:Regulator reprimands Hontai Life with NT$1m fine


With its real estate investment in New Taipei City, Hontai Life Insurance was deemed to have violated 'paragraph 1 of Article 146-2' of the Insurance Act which stipulated that "investments in real estate by an insurance enterprise shall be limited to real estate that can be used immediately and from which benefit may be derived".
