Australia:Climate change poses some material risks to financial institutions

Climate change will have a broad-based impact on Australian financial institutions and therefore poses risks that are systemic in nature. However, it does not yet pose an imminent threat to financial stability, says the Reserve Bank of Australia in its latest Financial Stability Review report released last week.
