Climate change reshapes evolution and intensity of El Ninos

Climate change is reshaping the evolution and intensity of El Niño events in a way that favours the occurrence of more "super" El Niños, according to a study 'Historical change of El Niño properties sheds light on future changes of extreme El Niño', published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America in October 2019.
