India:No-frill standard health insurance plan to be offered wef 1 April

The insurance regulator has issued a guideline on standard individual health insurance plans, requiring general and health insurers to offer a product that can cover the basic health needs of customers with a minimum sum insured of INR100,000 ($1,393) and a maximum of INR500,000.
