Korea:$330m raised for a new fund targeting local insurers


Carlyle Group's newly-launched revolving loan fund targeting South Korean insurers has received $330m from Shinhan Alternative Investment Management (SAIM), the country's first private equity fund management firm and a subsidiary of Shinhan Financial Group. By the end of March 2020, SAIM and Carlyle plan to raise additional capital of up to $150m.
