Philippines:Threat of volcano eruption looms just weeks after typhoon losses


The Philippines, one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world, could see a possible volcano eruption happen anytime which will potentially trigger a tsunami according to recent reports citing warnings from seismologists. This comes just weeks after typhoon Phanfone wreaked havoc on Christmas Eve causing PHP1m ($19.7m) worth of damage to crops and infrastructure.
