Coronavirus - Hong Kong insurance regulator suspends operations

Hong Kongers wear masks to protect themselves amidst a new coronavirus outbreak


In order to reduce the risk of the 'novel coronavirus infection' spreading in Hong Kong, the Insurance Authority (IA) will be temporarily closing its office from 29 January to 2 February. This means that public services provided by the IA such as the handling of hotline and email enquiries and complaints will be suspended in this time period.
