Non-life business of major A-share listed insurers hit harder by coronavirus

The aggregate premium income of China's five major A-share listed insurance companies stood at CNY672bn ($95bn) for the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 4.33%. This represented a slowdown from the 7.13% growth in January this year, showing the extent of the impact of COVID-19 on the performance of the insurance sector.
