Risk:Self-driving vehicles can prevent more crashes than study suggests

A study by US-based Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS), released on 4 June, found that self-driving cars would most likely only be able to prevent accidents caused by driver perception errors and incapacitation, after analysing 5,000 motor accidents in the US.
