COVID-19 vaccine lowers tail risk for insurers amid steep curve towards economic recovery

The discovery of a COVID-19 vaccine would help lower the long-tail risk facing insurers, although the path towards economic recovery remains long and steep, said Swiss Re chief economist Jerome Haegeli.
