Lloyd's will end investment in thermal coal-fired power plants, thermal coal mines, oil sands and new Arctic energy exploration activities, it says in its first Environmental, Social and Governance Report which details its ambitions to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable insurance and reinsurance marketplace.
