Nearly 60% of universal life products see credit rates dip below 3%

Insurers across China have been steadily disclosing the crediting rates for their universal life policies. As of May 22, partial statistics indicate that 653 products had released their April crediting rates (annualised). The highest rate recorded was 3.5%, while the lowest was just 0.36%. In fact, some products are already crediting returns equal to their guaranteed minimum rates.
