MS Amlin has appointed Ms Nicola Harris as head of natural resources. She will join the company in August 2025.
In her new role, Ms Harris will be responsible for leading the efforts of a team that supports a diverse range of clients throughout the entire energy chain. With a significant portfolio, the natural resources account includes upstream, midstream and downstream, as well as a growing renewables account.
Prior to her new role, Ms Harris was head of energy for AXA XL’s UK and Lloyd’s business. During this time, she also served as co-chair of the company’s gender diversity group. Other previous roles Ms Harris held at AXA XL include chief of staff to the global energy CUO and head of energy for EMEA.
Before joining AXA XL, Ms Harris spent four years as the head of energy and marine at Allianz in the MENA region.
Earlier in her career, Ms Harris worked with Marsh, as head of power and energy, where she helped build the company’s African energy proposition.
