Canopius Group has appointed Jinnan Tang as casualty treaty underwriter.
Mr Tang joins from MS Amlin, Singapore, where he managed casualty and marine treaty portfolios across Asia Pacific and the Middle East and North Africa, and developed the Marine FMX strategy. Prior to his role with MS Amlin, he held actuarial positions in London with Westfield Specialty and Aon Reinsurance Solutions, where he led pricing initiatives in motor, liability, and marine. He also worked at Insight Risk Consulting where he handled reserving, capital modelling, and pricing.
