Prudential Assurance Malaysia has appointed Mr Kelvin Ang as CEO of its life business. In his new role, he will spearhead the company's strategic realignment and growth initiatives, working closely with the senior management team to accelerate the company's transformation.
Mr Ang brings over 26 years of experience, having held senior leadership roles across Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia. His expertise spans agency development, business and technology transformation, M&A and driving organisational agility across diverse Asian markets.
Most recently, Mr Ang served as president and CEO of AIA Philippines. He also held other roles in agency integration in Malaysia and oversaw market expansion in Hong Kong, China and Vietnam with a strong focus on digitisation.
