Online insurance marketplace and broker, InsureMe, has been listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) since 1 December.
The listing was effected via an introduction, with 2,055,290 ordinary voting shares admitted for trading. The reference price was LKR442 ($1.43) per share. This means that InsureMe did not raise new capital from the listing.
InsureMe was granted in-principle approval by the CSE in late November to list its ordinary voting shares on the Empower board.
The company said in its offer document that the listing is intended to support two strategic objectives. These are:

Enhance corporate and brand visibility to boost the company’s growth plans for Sri Lanka, Asia Pacific and MENA

Enhance the governance structure of the company.
