The Office of the Insurance Commission (OIC), Thailand's insurance regulator, held an event aimed at elevating insurance literacy among people of all ages, making protection more accessible, easy-to-learn and applicable in day-to-day life.
The event included talks by representatives from the Thai Life Assurance Association and the Association of Life Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors, among others, said the OIC in a statement.
Deputy Secretary-General of the OIC, Ms Wasumdee Wasinon, stated that in an era of rapid economic, social and environmental change, financial and insurance knowledge has become a “life skill” that can help youth and the general public plan savings, analyse risks and confidently cope with unexpected events.
