QBE has announced two new appointments for its Singapore marine business.
Ms Kelly Lim has been appointed country lead for Cargo & TOL, and Mr Alex Lim has been appointed country lead for Hull & Liability within QBE Singapore’s Marine business.
Both will report to the head of marine, Asia, ensuring alignment with the firm’s regional strategy and strengthening its ability to deliver high-quality risk solutions to clients and partners.
Ms Kelly Lim has over two decades of experience in marine insurance, with expertise spanning underwriting, portfolio management, and building strong partnerships across the region.
She previously worked as an underwriter at Canopius and at QBE marine and energy syndicate 1036.
Mr Alex Lim worked for 13 years at QBE and was till most recently, the senior underwriter – marine hull and liability, and was the lead underwriter for accounts in Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining QBE, he served as manager of the marine specialty broking team at Aon and as an insurance broker at Nacora international insurance brokers.
