HDI Global has promoted Mr Haris Michaels to the position of Head of Energy & Power Eastern Region at the Singapore branch, and Mr Mark Mackay to the position of Global Head of Energy & Power. Both positions are effective 1 March 2026.
Mr Michaels brings more than two decades of industry experience and a strong track record in technical, client-focussed underwriting across complex engineering and energy-related risks. He joined HDI Global in 2013.
He succeeds Mr Mackay, who previously led the Energy & Power book from Singapore.
According to Mr Michaels in a statement, his focus will be on staying close to clients and broker partners, in order to understand their projects and challenges, and bringing HDI Global’s technical expertise and service to support them.
