China United Insurance Group has appointed Mr Liu Yuanzhag as Chairman. The decision was made with the approval of the Board of Directors and National Financial Regulatory Administration. At the same time, the company relieved Mr Liu of his position as interim head of the company.
According to information from Futu Securities International, Mr Liu was born in 1978 and holds a master’s degree in economics. He has over 20 years of experience working in China’s reinsurance industry, with extensive expertise.
Mr Liu has held various positions, including Minister of the Party Organisation Department, General Manager of Human Resources, Human Resources Director, Assistant President, Board Secretary, Joint Company Secretary of China Reinsurance (Group) Corporation, Party Secretary and Chairman of Huatai Insurance Brokerage and Chairman of China Property & Casualty Reinsurance.
