Tysers Singapore has appointed Ms Prantika Sengupta as Director of Marine Claims and Client Relations.
In her new role, Ms Sengupta enhances the firm’s claims offering, and will work under the guidance of Chairman of Claims Mr Chris Sydenham, to support clients across the marine portfolio. She also works closely with Head of Shipping Claims in London, Ms Marlena Truszczynska.
Ms Sengupta brings 15 years of experience in maritime law, (re)insurance and reinsurance, claims management and dispute resolution. She is also highly skilled in handling complex maritime insurance liabilities, cargo claims and contractual disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
She joins Tysers from Sealead Shipping, where she served as Global Director – Legal. Prior to that, she was Deputy General Counsel and Head of Claims and Insurance for APAC at CMA CGM.
