The insurance part of pensions is set to increase, and minimal pension to be raised, to KGS8,800 ($100) in Kyrgyzstan, effective 1 October 2026.
According to business news platform Interfax, quoting the Kyrgyz presidential administration, as the consumer price index was 108.2%, and the average wage grew 117.6% in 2025, the estimated indexation coefficient is now 1.13.
Due to financial capabilities of the Social Funds budget and aspiration to grant additional support to pensioners, the indexation coefficient for the insurance part of pensions will move up to 1.20, effective 1 October 2026.
The move will bring up an average pension to KGS12,898.
