Prudential plc announced in a 27 August press release that Prudential Corporation Holdings (PCHL), a subsidiary of Prudential, has successfully executed the sale of a 2% stake in ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (IPAMC) via an open market sale process.
The final realised price for the sale was INR3,065 per share. The resultant proceeds from the sale are equivalent to $300m. As mentioned in Prudential’s 2026 half-year results released on 27 August 2026, the net proceeds are to be returned to Prudential shareholders in the form of a share buyback.
